Who we are

Since 2012, we’ve been giving culinary professionals the space and flexibility to grow their business.

The Hood Kitchen Space is a commercial kitchen facility focused on providing clean, health department certified space for chefs, restaurants, bakers, food artisans, consultants and culinary teachers to flourish, at any stage in their business.

Meet Laura Cahill

GEWL started at home during the pandemic.

Most small start up food businesses care about limiting risk & price- and starting a small business involves both.

We provided Laura with space to grow and provided the opportunity to open her first retail location at a very low cost.

GEWL is open Monday-Friday 11am-2pm.

We have created a space that connects food start-ups with a community of local entrepreneurs, letting them rent our kitchens, or even small prep tables at a much lower rate than opening up a brick and mortar. Start-ups can save money, connect with the food community, receive business support and rent as much or as little as required to scale their business.
