The Hood is an all-inclusive hub that provides comprehensive flex space for artisans at every level and any specialty. From start-up concepts to professional chefs, The Hood Kitchen, Studio, Market and Event Space provides turn-key solutions for creating, educating, training, showcasing and entertaining. Developed by Orange County chefs who brought a space to life that was exactly what they were looking for but couldn’t find during their tenure in the kitchen.

Recognized as the premier facility of its kind in Orange County, The Hood is proud to be an incubator for small brands, a destination for catering and food trucks, while also being a preferred choice for new or existing restaurant concepts in need of menu testing, creating and development.

Giving Back

The Hood is a proud partner of Open Gate International, founded by Deirdre Pujols- an organization that seeks to provide vocational opportunities and training to the less fortunate for sustainable life success. The Culinary Skills Program has found its home within The Hood and is run by globally renowned Chef Brent Southcombe alongside author and leading life skills mentor Judy Lamborn.


The Hood Kitchen Space offers six fully equipped commercial kitchens, built to accommodate the unique requirements of our clients. Equipped with all of the tools and amenities that one would require, the kitchens offer various pieces of shared equipment. They also feature in-demand items like a flat top griddle, blast chiller, tilt skillets, and so much more! One unique feature of the kitchen space is baking Kitchen FIVE which is outfitted to accommodate demonstration cooking classes, filming, or small team-building events for up to 25 guests. Additionally, The Hood is proud to have partnerships with food suppliers like US Foods, helping connect our clients with the resources they desire.

The Hood Studio is a private venue located inside The Hood.  Ideal for hosting workshops, tastings, cooking classes, chef's table, team building events, photography sessions and more, the intimate space can accommodate up to 25 guests. Attached to Kitchen FIVE, the space is complete with 6 rolling tables and 25 bar stools that can be arranged in a variety of configurations. With access to a variety of vendors, The Hood can assist you with facilitating any additional décor or furnishing needs you may have to transform the space into any look and feel you desire. Additionally, the Studio is HDMI ready which makes presenting on the big flat screen TV seamless.

EVNT | Event + Prep Space

Work Hours
The Hood multi-purpose work space features shared office space and prep areas that can be rented by the hour. With up to 30 prep tables available, the area is perfect for our clients who need a little extra room or a little more time to prep their materials. The shared office stations provide a convenient area to reconcile accounting, work on scheduling, place orders, or connect with staff outside the kitchen.

After Dark + Weekends
The Hood Event Space is a multi-purpose event venue with over 1,200 sq. ft of space. Ideal for events of all shapes and sizes and not exclusive to events related to the food industry, the space offers flexibility in both function and design for a wide variety of events. From corporate events and workshops, to celebratory affairs and holiday gatherings, the Event Space can be booked year round, Monday – Friday from 5pm- Midnight and all day on Saturdays and Sundays. The facility offers ample parking along with easy vendor access for set-up and design of any type of event.

As an ideal backdrop for existing caterers looking to utilize our commercial kitchen and prep space and then serve their clientele, our venue is a destination for catering companies of all specialties. Also, the venue is an all-inclusive facility for clientele such as corporations, sports teams, and community organizations looking not only for an event venue, but a selection of  caterers  to connect with for their event food and beverage needs.
